Lunch box snack of the week: Make your Own Trail Mix

  • Prep Time: 10 minutes
  • Servings: makes 4
  • Storage: Keep up to 5 days in an airtight container
  • Equipment: Mixing bowl, small zip lock bags

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup mixed dried mango pieces, banana chips, apple and sultana’s or other dried fruit
  • 1/4 cup mixed nuts and seeds (for older children)
  • 1/2 cup coconut shavings
  • 1/2 cup plain toasted oats

Directions:

  1. Mix all ingredients
  2. divide them into small zip-lock bags
